Entrance Exam
Entrance Exam 2014 - Wednesday 5th February
Entry to the School is by competitive examination held each year in February for entry into Year 7 the following September. Pupils are tested in English, Mathematics and Reasoning and a book of sample papers is available on request (£5).
We also welcome applicants into Years 8, 9 and 10 either for September or a mid-point transfer when students are moving into the area or are unhappy or under-achieving at their current school.
Sixth Form applications are made on the basis of GCSE predictions and an interview with the Head. Applicants are expected to attain a minimum of 5 A* - C passes at GCSE. Download the Application Form here.

Open Evenings

A Level & Post 16 Evening - Wed 12th March 2014 - 7:15PM - 8:30PM
Open Evenings are held twice a year giving pupils and parents an opportunity to tour the school and speak to key members of staff, including the Headmaster.
Your Child will have the opportunity to speak to current pupils and sample some of the curriculum we have to offer.

NCGS Fees
Fees for the academic year 2012-2013 are £8631. These are due by the end of the first week of each term at a rate of £2877 but some parents opt to make 10 Direct Debit payments of £863.10. School buses, if used, individual music tuition and lunches are charged separately.
A full term's notice of withdrawal must be given in writing to the Headmaster. In default of this a term's fees must be paid in lieu of notice.
Fees will not be refunded or waived for absence through sickness, if term dates are altered or if a student is released for a study leave or after public examinations end.
