INTRODUCTION

We teach across the full age range. Design and Technology is compulsory throughout Key stage 3 (Years 7-9). It then is an Option at Key Stage 4 (GCSE) right through to 'AS' and 'A' Level. The specifications that we offer include AQA Resistant Materials at GCSE and AQA Product Design at 'AS' and 'A' Level.

Our aim is to stimulate interest and enjoyment of Design Technology and to develop pupils' ability to apply knowledge and understanding of the subject in a safe environment.

The teaching is organised so that pupils' imagination creativity and innovation are stimulated while still focusing on developing products to meet precise specifications.
