School Trips

The School offers a wide variety of trips and holidays, both at home and abroad. An annual skiing trip is always popular as is the historical Battlefields Trip to France. The Junior School enjoys trips to Conway Castle, Chester Zoo and Alton Towers each year. For the more adventurous Cestrians a trip to China, India or Barbados may be more appealing.

Sporting Cestrians

At North Cestrian we are proud of the achievements of our present and former pupils. Many of our pupils have excelled in their chosen sport, going on to represent at regional and national levels.

The School works closely with external agencies ensuring that these talented youngsters reach their full potential in their chosen field, this is facilitated by the School's flexible approach to their education.

Duke of Edinburgh

At North Cestrian we offer everyone the chance to gain these prestigious national awards at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels. In fact we are the only school in the area which can offer the expedition training and assessments in-house due to the commitment, qualifications and enthusiasm of so many teachers.

We have a large stock of high quality equipment we lend to the pupils and a never ending supply of enthusiasm to help them overcome difficulties along the way. The weather can sometimes be cold, grey and depressing but the cheery smiles show just what our pupils are made of.

Clubs & Societies

North Cestrian is proud of its many clubs and societies, run by its dedicated staff, providing pupils with the opportunity to explore other interests and skills. All clubs are inclusive and pupils are continually encouraged to participate. There is something for everyone.
